Balloon Safari

Balloon safaris are a romantic and evocative way of experiencing the wilderness of Africa

Balloon safaris are a romantic and evocative way of experiencing the wilderness of  Africa,Is fashionable safari flying over the Maasai Mara and the Tsavo National Parks. Gliding serenely above the trees offers unparalleled panoramic balloon views of the awe-inspiring landscape. The unique perspective gives a much truer and mind blowing sense of the huge expanses of bush.
Watching the plains teeming with herds of wildlife. You will experience a wrap-around panorama of Africa and enjoy what some describe as the closest safari to heaven. You are in for a game-viewing adventure with an entirely different perspective on a one hour flight over the Masai Mara, the land of breathtaking scenery.

The experience is pretty  unmissable mostly during the migration season, Whenyou have an opportunity to watch immense herds lumber and snake across the plains. The safari culminates with a champagne breakfast in the bush,

There is nothing quite like it. The absolute peace of immense vistas, muted colours and crisp fresh air...and the ever present promise of something wild.... as the balloons float you silently above it all "like a dream come true"

The Balloons lift off at dawn (0615) after coffee and a flight briefing. The balloons lift off just before sunrise when the breeze on the plains is still cold. The one hour flight will give you a birds eye view, of the best East Africa has to offer, in the magnificent setting of the Great Rift Valley. Once airborne, the balloons are blown by the prevailing winds across the broad landscape. Apart from the hiss of the burners, the flight above the Masai Mara plains is magically silent. The pilot controls the height of the craft by regulating the flow of hot air into the balloon. Sometimes the balloon will descend over the plains for a close up view of the wildlife; on other occasions, it rises to clear a tree canopy and rise over the reverine forest.
